The European Tugowners Association will celebrate its 59th Annual General Meeting in the island of Tenerife, Spain. The ETA 2022 AGM will take place from the 6th to the 9th of September at the Gran Hotel Bahía del Duque, on the south of Tenerife and it will be hosted by ETA member Boluda Corporación Marítima.
This year, the ETA Secretariat has decided to add an extra day to the official agenda, Tuesday the 6th, which will be reserved to organize a new edition of the ETA gulf tournament during the afternoon.
The other 3 days will be filled with events that shall bring together full and associated members, policy makers and industry leaders. These events will take place in one of the most luxurious hotels in the paradisiac island of Tenerife: Gran Hotel Bahía del Duque. This iconic touristic complex offers outstanding rooms, spectacular views on Duque beach, 5 swimming pools and a number of restaurants and bars that will make delegates´ visit a time to remember. A number of events like the ETA Conference and the gala dinner will take place within the premises of the hotel complex. This year the Conference´s theme will be Trends impacting Towage Operations and focus on current issues like supply chain logistics and tug spare parts or the cycle of buying and selling tugs.
In addition to this, the European Tugowners Association delegates will enjoy a very special welcome dinner hosted by Boluda Corporación Marítima. This time participants will indulge in the best food and drinks in a pretty casual atmosphere at Costa Adeje beach.
The 4-days event will come to an end, as every year, with the social day. This time will be a very special one, ETA delegates will visit the peak of mount Teide, a dormant volcano, the third largest in the world and the highest point in Spain.
