The European Tugowners Association will meet again to celebrate its 60th Annual General Meeting in the coast of Alicante (Spain). The ETA 2023 AGM will take place from the 13th to the 16th of June at the Asia Gardens Hotel, in Benidorm (Alicante) and it will be hosted by ETA local member Boluda Corporación Marítima.


The event will be opened with the traditional ETA golf tournament, which this year will be organized at Meliá Villaitana Golf Club.


The following 3 days will be filled with events, in which full and associate members and industry leaders will be able to discuss the present and future of the sector, network and enjoy the best Spanish hospitality.


The Annual General Meeting, the ETA Conference and Gala Dinner will take place in one of the most special and luxurious hotels at the Costa Blanca, the Asia Gardens Hotel where our members will sojourn.

This impressive Thai-style hotel offers a number of outstanding rooms inspired by South East Asian architecture. The lush gardens are designed to create an Asian environment in a Mediterranean climate region. These gardens are an authentic Asian paradise in the Spanish coast. The hotel is equipped as well with 7 outdoor pools, a spa, 4 restaurants offering different cuisine and 3 distinctive bars.


In addition to this, the European Tugowners Association´s delegates will enjoy a very special welcome dinner hosted by Boluda Corporación Marítima at Hotel Villaitana. This time attendants will indulge in the best Mediterranean food and the finest wines in a replica of Altea´s church. The ETA Conference, which will take place on the 15th, will have as theme “People, the most valuable resource in our industry” and shall focus on the current aspects around the human resource in the shipping sector and more specifically in the towage sector. The Annual General Meeting will offer as well a number of excursions for members and partners, that will give a glimpse of the Mediterranean identity of the region, with visits to the picturesque towns of Altea and Guadalest and the nature of Costa Blanca.
